Moving here has been the experience of a lifetime! I literally enjoy all the amenities here, Marina and the team has been so much help. The garage has been a super safe place for my car; there’s security always roaming the garage at night which is a plus for me! The community is always well kept, having emergency maintenance has been a lifesaver. I truly enjoy living here. I’m so close to everything. It’s so peaceful, even by the pool. I’ve never had a pool opened all year round. This place is 10/10. Definitely recommend.

I’ve lived here for 2 years. SB1K has a great location and the building is very nice and kept up to date. The pool area is incredible and the indoor market is awesome to use for snacks/drinks. The property management does a great job communicating and resolving issues. A few things to note: The garage door does not work all the time. So it is kept open overnight occasionally. Also, so many pigeons in the garage that crap all over your cars if you don’t pay attention to where you park.

I did just movie in, but since I have, Melissa has been the BIGGEST help since moving here. Always in the best mood and gives off the most sincere welcoming vibes. The apartments are beautiful, everything I’ve needed, Melissa has gotten it. I’m definitely in love with my new home and the people who work here to make it as amazing as it is.

Ok we signed a lease here about a month and a half ago to hold down an apartment. I’m not gonna lie I started to get skeptical due to all the reviews from previous tenants and before the new management. I looked at different apartments in the area and I still loved the one we chose. After moving in this week, this place exceeded our expectations. Our apartment is awesome and we absolutely love the location. Management was amazing since we had some issue with our furniture movers they made sure we could get into our place early after frantically showing up to the leasing office before they were even open. We are super excited about our new home and happy we chose SB1k!

Some things to expect if you live here: The good - Cool location (South Broadway, Wash Park, Pearl Street), pet friendly, cool people, convenience to highway, great views, secure package room. The bad - Not so cool people (bad pet owners who don't clean up, that guy upstairs), proximity to busy streets (highway noise), secure package room (afterhours deliveries from Amazon will either end up somewhere random on the property or get sent back until the next day). That being said -- Since the new management took over at SB1K Apartments in Denver, the improvements have been remarkable. Melissa, in particular, has been instrumental in addressing several long-standing issues. Under her guidance, the broken garage doors have been repaired, the pool heater and hot tub are now fully operational, and the overall maintenance of the property has significantly improved. Moreover, the new management team regularly organizes events for residents, fostering a strong sense of community and making SB1K Apartments a more enjoyable place to live. Melissa and the team's dedication and proactive approach have truly transformed the living experience here.

I have lived at SB1K for a year now and it started off a bit rocky due to the management change that happened when I moved in. The new management team that took over in April, AMC, has been adding/changing things for the better since they have been here and I can already tell that the current problems are being taken care of instead of swept under the rug like I've seen in my time here. I'm so thankful for Marina, Melissa, Alexis, Patrick, Marquinn and Armando because the pool had been closed since April 2023 and they opened it by July and threw the coolest parties! The team has fixed all of the pending issues and they are killing it, and I can't wait to see what else is in store for us!

We stopped by while out shopping on Friday and was greeting by a charming leasing agent Alexis, she explained a pool party was going on and we was invited to stay and she stopped and haves us all the information of the property and the amenities was amazing with off street parking garage with cameras, the pool and gym as well. My son and his roommates are moving back from college and I know this is prefect for them close to downtown Denver and close to the highways for the mountains. Ever since Missy and her team took over this past spring, my opinion on this building has completely changed. I went from being constantly frustrated with the lack of effort from the last management company to completely happy to be here. The new staff is really friendly and super attentive. I now plan on staying and would definitely recommend it to new tenants.

SB1K has been one of my favorite Complexes that i have seen so far when apartment hunting. From the fantastic team that they have, to the wonderful amenities (My personal favorite rooftop, lounging area on the 2nd floor, and fresh market), and their cool decor all over the building is 1000/1000 Not to mention their awesome, fun resident events they throw for us! They know how to throw it DOWN! Shoutout to Marina and Melissa for always greeting with a smile and ready to help in the best way, and their maintenance team Armando, Patrick, and Marquin for their amazing work. i can truly tell they are all trying to make this complex look amazing and be amazing. It shows! keep up the amazing work!

I’ve been apartment hunting around Denver for a few months now and SB1K really stood out. From the moment I toured the property, I was impressed. The management team was incredibly friendly and answered all of my questions right away. The property itself is top-of-the-line. The rooftop patio has stunning views, and the pool area is fantastic. Everything feels modern and well-maintained. After seeing a lot of places, SB1K definitely left the best impression on me!

I’ve got to hand it to Missy and the new management team at SB1K! Not only have they fixed the pool/hot tub issues, but it’s evident they’ve gone out of their way to create a fun and welcoming sense of community! Free food… Free drinks… And good tunes… Does it get any better? Last night’s Neon Pool Party was a VIBE! While I’m here - I just want to address a couple of unjust reviews about this place. 1) I’ve seen posts about dog pee/feces by the doorways and these people are blaming the leasing agents? It is 100% up to the dog’s owner to clean up after your pets, not the leasing office’s. 2) And another thing…. The reason the alarm continues to go off is because you guys’ are not shutting the door completely behind you. It’s a security feature put in place so that the residents are safe! Keep the doors closed and quit blaming the apartment complex for your lack of responsibility.

Living in Denver can be expensive, but I found these apartments to offer great value for the price. They are much more affordable compared to others in the area, and the neighborhood feels safe and trendy. The high ceilings and white finishes give the place a modern and spacious feel. If you can get a first-floor apartment, it feels less like living in a large building. I had a wonderful year overall, and the new management team is already making positive changes.

The garage door is consistently broken which hopefully will get resolved soon. I love my apartment & I love the location overall- so many things close by within walking distance. We have been here for a year and LOVE it . The staff and management are terrific and respond very fast . Great location and the apartments are very well appointed . We have a 3 bedroom and it’s bright , modern and well built in our opinion . If you are a home body and want to love where you live , this place is a perfect option and more affordable than other apartments in the area .

SB1K is by far the best property I've lived at! My AC stopped working last night, I also noticed the gyms A/C wasn't working, and they immediately called a company to come evaluate what's going on with both AC systems and resolve the problem. I also had a problem with my fob not letting me in some of the building doors and they checked out my fob to ensure it works properly. (It was just an operator error- I suck with technology. 😜) I'm grateful for this new team and their quick responses, thank you SB1K staff!

I'm so thankful for this new management team at SB1K! I called to inquire about why the pool isn't open and a few other things. They were so kind over the phone and told me that they are doing a whole remodel of the pool, will be opening it early July and will be hosting a huge pool party! They also mentioned that there are a lot of current projects happening, like the courtyard by the office will be turned into a gaming area with Jenga and stuff like that and they just added a backyard axe throwing kit to the 4th floor lounge balcony. They are really making this place so much better to live! I love living at SB1K and I'm so happy with this new staff. Thank you all for your hard work!

The new staff here will work you wonders. Marina, Hannah, Melissa, they’re all amazing. My AC had some damage and it wasn’t an easy fix. This staff made sure I was covered on all bases & took care of the entire issue as fast as they could right before Memorial Day weekend. I can’t express my gratitude enough. Thank you guys so much!

Overall pretty good place to live. The gym is on par with other apartments and the printer is nice for occasional use. The pool has been down for a long time and the door app is frequently down too. The best part of this place is the location. The worst part of this place is the pigeons in the garage, always bird poop on the cars. Wish the hallways smelled better too. Staff is very helpful and responsive and maintenance requests are typically resolved quickly.

This new management company is really trying their best to make the necessary updates and changes this complex has desperately needed. Recently the garage door was fixed and we have started to have more frequent resident events including breakfasts, workout classes by the pool, and a pool party. Heather and Kenzie worked hard in the sun and heat on the day of the pool party serving up food and drinks. Their positive attitude radiates and you can tell they enjoy their job and working for SB1k. Also, they recently updated the rooftop furniture and it’s the perfect place to relax and get in the amazing Mountain View’s! I’m looking forward to their continued improvements to the community.

My boyfriend and I just toured this apartment complex and absolutely loved everything about it. Our leasing agent Kenzie was the best at showing us the complex as well as letting us come back for a second tour to view the unit we will move in to. We loved Kenzie’s personality and transparency! We toured a handful of other places and she was the only one who we felt was talking to us as individual people and not just another number to fill units. I recently moved into this building and the SB1K team has been very helpful and responsive. Kenzie was readily available whenever I had inquiries about the building itself or the move-in process and answered my questions very clearly and with a lot of detail. I had some minor problems upon moving in but they were addressed very quickly thanks to Kenzie reaching out to support staff. Also love all the amenities the complex has to offer. Moving can be stressful but it has been so far so good at SB1K.

5-stars for Kenzie, 4-stars for the building. We ran into a hiccup with our move in and had to quickly change units. Kenzie helped us navigate the process, and once we got into our place were happy with the apartment. We have high ceilings are in a location is awesome. Can't hear anything through the walls thus far. The office team is great, super helpful, and seem genuine in making the place a good spot to live. I had a great experience working with Valerie, from my initial apartment tour to my move in weekend. She was great and showed me multiple apartments and was really helpful in answering all my questions! On my move in day, Valerie was able to pull some strings and get me moved in a day earlier than originally planned. This was extremely helpful, as I had driven from out of state, and really didn’t want to leave my Uhaul, packed with all my stuff, outside overnight. I am excited to live here!

There is a lot of low reviews here that aren't great but you get affordable parking, a brand new building for a great price, an awesome pool and hot tub area/lounge area/upstairs rooftop all included as well as a decent gym on the second floor. Management in the beginning of 2022 was very poor because turnover was too high and nobody knew the answers to everything but things have changed since then! Sure people leave trash in the hallways sometimes and yes things break, but the staff does everything they can to help you out because they really do care. Been super happy with the location and it's right next to the lightrail and is just a 10 minute straight-shot to downtown. Take these one star reviews with a grain of salt, lots of these issues are out of the building's control.
